Lahore: The Punjab Education Boards have decided that they would not take the practical exams for students of intermediate and matric classes this year.
The decision was taken by the Punjab Boards (PBCC) at a committee meeting in Lahore. The chairmen of all nine provincial boards of Punjab participated and discussed the recommendations in light of the current academic situation due to the coronavirus’s pandemic.
The statement said that the practical examinations for the year 2021 would not be conducted because of the country’s ongoing health crisis.

The announcement comes in the wake of a surge in coronavirus cases that has also led to the closing of schools from 26 November to 10 January.
