On 21st September 2021, Mardan Board announced its Matric and Intermediate Annual Examination 2021 Results. An outstanding and rare result was produced by one of the students.
A student named Qandeel from Nowshera, topped her matric exam by scoring 1,100 marks out of 1,100. Qandeel was the only female student throughout Pakistan who had made the record by securing all the 1,100 marks.
Qandeel, daughter of Sohail Ahmad, of Student Model High School, Akora Khattak, Nowshera, took the obvious first position in the Mardan board.
Mardan Board Chairman said that the first position holder Ms. Qandeel was an orphan and the board had a proud in her. The board chairman also announced that all the fees of boards would not be taken from Ms. Qandeel to acknowledge her talent.
Talking to the media Ms Qandeel said that all of her achievements were a result of teachers’ hardworking and mother’s prayers.
It is pertinent to mention here that this year, only the exams of elective subjects were taken. The marks of the other subjects were awarded based on the average percentage of elective subjects. Similarly, last year no exams were taken, and all students were promoted due to COVID-19. In short, the result announced is just based on 4-5 elective subjects.
