Lahore: BISE Punjab Boards Intermediate Result postponed, will not be announced on September 30. The new date of HSSC Part II result has not been announced yet.
Previously, all BISE Punjab Boards were scheduled to announce their Intermediate results on 30th September 2021. But the result of HSSC II has been delayed because the COVID-19 promotion policy is yet to be approved by the Punjab Cabinet. As soon as the cabinet approves, the new result date will be announced.
This year the exams of only elective subjects were conducted due to the short academic year. The government decided to pass all the candidates that appeared in the examination and award marks of compulsory subjects based on elective subjects. This policy needed formal approval from the Punjab government and that is the main reason for the delay in results.
Earlier this week, the federal board FBISE announced their Intermediate Results. Female candidates were hailed for clinching top slots in the 2021 HSSC exams, in a ceremony held at the FBISE. Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood attended the event as the chief guest.
