The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has set the dates for all educational boards in the province to begin their matriculation and intermediate annual examinations.
According to reports, 10th grade examinations will begin on May 10, while 9th grade exams will begin on May 26. The deadline for submitting admission forms with the standard fee for matric exams was March 22. Intermediate Part II exams will commence on June 18th, followed by Inter Part I exams on July 4th. The deadline for submitting admission forms with the standard price for inter examinations is March 31.

PBCC has enabled educational boards to create their own data sheets for matric and inter exams; all educational boards are expected to begin matric and inter exams on the dates set by the PBCC.
Annual exams will be held twice a year instead of supplementary exams. The first annual exams will take place as planned, while the second annual exams will take place once the matric and inter results are announced. Separately, the Punjab Education Ministry is said to have decided to discontinue supplementary Matriculation and Intermediate Exams.
