Thursday, 4th November 2020: The Minister for School Education Punjab, Dr. Murad Raas has tweeted that the schools in Punjab to remain open and run on the current schedule. He said that the COVID situation is under control and all SOPs are being followed by the School Education Department. He further said that all news regarding the closure of schools is fake.
Today a meeting of all education ministers was held to review the current COVID-19 situation in the country. Dr. Murad Raas tweet after this meeting indicates that the schools and educational institutions in the country are not going to be closed. The rumors that schools that will close in November, now stand baseless.
