An NCOC meeting was held today, under the chairmanship of Federal Minister, Shafqat Mahmood. The meeting reviewed the situation arising out of the increasing cases of Corona across the country. Senior officials from the education department and health department also attended the meeting
Dr. Faisal Sultan said that in view of the Corona epidemic, the policy of working from home of 50% of the employees in the offices will continue, entertainment venues will be closed at 6 pm, not cinemas and wedding halls considering the current situation. Can be opened The decision to reopen cinema halls from March 15 has been withdrawn, the food inside hotels will also be banned while the policy regarding wedding halls will remain the same. In addition, a time limit of 10 pm was imposed on all commercial activities.
On this occasion, Shafqat Mehmood said that the situation in Sindh and Balochistan is almost fine but problems have been seen in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir, 50% of children will come to school in Sindh and Balochistan
The schools in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Gujarat, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Peshawar have been closed for two weeks, starting from Monday, March 15. All educational institutions will reopen on March 28. Institutions. And the schools where examinations are taking place will continue as per schedule.
