Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) which is the successor of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that all MDCAT’s by Admitting Universities that have been previously scheduled are cancelled.
This means that all other Medical Colleges Admission Tests including ETEA, NUMS, People’s University’s medical entry test, and UHS MDCAT are postponed now. Pakistan Medical Commission will announce a uniform policy for admission to medical and dental colleges in Pakistan and shall conduct National MDCAT.
A notification on the PMC website states that National MDCAT will be held by the Commission. The Schedule of the examination will be announced by the Commission immediately after 2nd October. All MDCAT’s by Admitting Universities as may have been scheduled stand canceled.
PMC will conduct a single entrance test for admissions to all medical and dental colleges in the country. This entry test is named as National Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test, National MDCAT. The dates of the test will be announced after the PMC meeting scheduled to be held on October 02, 2020.
