Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, FBISE has announced the smart syllabus or reduced Syllabus for Matric classes (9th and 10th). The smart syllabus will applicable for SSC Annual Examination 2021. The syllabus of SSC Part I and SSC Part II has been reduced because of Covid-19.
In March 2020, all institutions were closed due to Covid-19 and board examinations were also canceled. The educational institutions reopened on 15th September. The educational institutions were closed for almost six months so the academic year 2020-21 has been affected. Keeping in view the current situation FBISE announced the smart syllabus for 9th and 10th classes. So that the students could effectively prepare for their exams.
Previously Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, PCTB has also taken a similar initiative and introduced an ALP for Classes 1 to 10. Now Punjab board is working on the syllabus reduction of Intermediate as well.
