Higher Education Department (HED) has announced the winter vacations for Colleges and Universities under the jurisdiction of HED Punjab from 23rd December 2021 to 6th January 2022.
The notification issued by HED, dated 21st December, states:
It is hereby notified that all the Higher Education Institutions (HEIS) both in the Public and Private sector under the jurisdiction of Higher Education Department Punjab shall remain closed for winter vacation w.e.f. 23 December 2021 to 6″ January 2022.
All the concerned authorities shall ensure 100% vaccination of all teaching and non-teaching staff and students by the opening of Institutions in the wake of an increasing number of Omicron variant of COVID-19. Non-vaccinated teaching, non-teaching staff, and students shall not be allowed to enter their concerned Institutions. In case of noncompliance, the authorities concerned shall be held responsible.
Previously, the school Education Department Punjab has also announced the winter vacations for educational institutions in two phases.
