Examinations for classes 10 and 12 will begin from July 5 and 26 respectively in Sindh, Education Minister Saeed Ghani said on Thursday.
According to a notification shared by the provincial education minister on his official Twitter handle, the exams of class 11 will be held after class 12. The notification by School Education and Literacy Department, Sindh states:
- The SSC Part-11 Annual Examination, 2021 will be conducted from 05 July 2021 and HSSC Part-Il Annual Examination from, 26th July 2021 in the elective subjects only.
- The paper pattern will consist of 50 % MCQs, 30% short questions and 20% long question.
The duration of a paper will be two hours and 50 per cent of the paper will be based on objective-type questions, 30 per cent short questions and 20% long questions, Ghani said. Moreover, the practical exams will not be held this year.
Earlier this month, the federal government in consultation with all provinces had announced to scale down the exams to only elective subjects for students of secondary and higher secondary classes, which would begin after July 10 across the country.
