China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Saturday announced the launch of a three-month CPEC internship.

In a recent tweet, the chairman said in the spirit of empowerment for youth, CPEC offered Pakistan’s youth an opportunity to build skills and experiences that would help Pakistan to grow and prosper in the future.
He said the internship is an inclusive, national project, focusing on human and social development and will involve 60 percent of youth. Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa also shared a brochure of the internship.
Eligibility Criteria for CPEC Internship Program
- Under 30 years of age
- A Bachelor’s degree in ANY discipline
- No experience required
- Good research, writing, and digital media skills
Salient Features of CPEC Internship Program 2020
- 100 interns will be recruited under the program
- Monthly Stipend will be offered to the interns
- Interns will be allocated to Specific Industries/Sectors
- Interns will be able to Indulge in evidence-based policy advising
- Development of Leadership and Management Skills
- The opportunity of working with a diverse group

- 1st Round: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CV
- 2nd Round: Shortlisted Candidates will have to submit a Written (500 to 650 words) or Video Essay
