ARES Belgium Scholarship 2020
The Académie De Recherche Et D’Enseignement Supérieur (ARES) has announced its scholarships for the residents of developing countries pursue a Specialized Masters or a training program relevant to their profession.
The scholarship is awarded to 220 candidates each year including 150 Masters Candidates and 70 candidates for professional training programs.
Stipend and Benefits-For Masters
- Internal Travel Costs- One round-trip per year on economy class
- Living Allowance-1150€ /month for one year
- Insurance Fees- Directly paid by ARES
- Indirect Mission Fees- 150€. Only once per stay
- Tuition and Return Fee plus arrival allowance- 700€. Once per stay
Stipend and Benefits-For Short-term training
- Internal Travel Costs- One round-trip per year on economy class
- Living Allowance- 83€ /day for 8-17 days visit, 1400€ /month for 18 days to 1 month visits and 1400€ /month for visits of 1 to 6 months
- Insurance Fees- Directly paid by ARES
- Indirect Mission Fees- 150€. Only once per stay
Eligibility
- The candidate must be a citizen of a developing country and should be residing and working in the same country
- Under 40 for Masters and under 45 for training programs
- At least 2 years working experience after graduation
- The candidate must posses a good command over French, however, some specialized masters programs in English require fluency in English only.
- Candidates should apply for one training course only
Application Procedure
- There is no application fee for applying to ARES at any stage of the application/selection process.
- The application form may be obtained from the official website.
- The hard form of the application form along with all the designated documents should reach the said office by 7th Feb, 2020
