Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Science PIEAS Islamabad has modified its entrance test pattern for admissions 2020.
The new pattern reduces the number of questions from 100 to 80. Now the booklet will contain only 80 questions in total. In addition, the weightage of each subject in the entry test has been changed. Now all subjects will carry have equal weightage, 20 questions each from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science, and General Aptitude. Prior to this, Physics and mathematics carried more weightage than other subjects. The arrangement of the questions is also changed. Now there will be no specific section for any subjects, all questions from different subjects are mixed. The time allowed has been reduced 1.5 hours i.e. 90 Minutes. In the previous entry tests conducted by PIEAS, students were allowed 3 hours of time to complete their tests. All students who have applied for PIEAS must note down theses changes
